Sloomoo Institute is an immersive experience based on slime and all things #satisfying. It\u2019s a world of never-ending textures, delicious scents, eye-popping colors, mesmerizing visuals, sound journeys of ASMR, and more. Designed for both kids and kids-at-heart, hands-on play has been scientifically proven to boost your mood, energy, and\u00a0 feeling of connection, not just to others but to yourself too.<\/p>\n

Forbes called it \u201ca cornucopia for the senses,\u201d and the Today Show raved that it\u2019s a must-visit with the family.<\/p>\n

Sloomoo Institute launched in October of 2019 with a magical 12,000 square-foot space in SoHo, NYC and has expanded to Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, and Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

WHERE OUR NAME CAME FROM<\/strong><\/p>\n

The word Sloomoo came from a funny, viral trend noticed in the slime community in 2017. Slimers captioned their posts with this saying, \u201creplace the vowels of your name with \u2018oo\u2019 and that\u2019s your new slime name.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leave the world behind when you step into Sloomoo Institute, a playful wonderland of exploration – think hundreds of gallons of fresh, handmade slime, the world\u2019s largest DIY Bar to create your own slime (over 4M combinations), a lake of cloud slime to walk on, a gigantic slime slingshot, ASMR sound baths, day-glow dancing, and so much more. You can even get slimed at Sloomoo Falls. It\u2019s a place where kiddos are free to be themselves and grown-ups are free to be kids again. Because joy shouldn\u2019t just be seen; it should be felt\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A finalist for Fast Company\u2019s Innovation by Design Award, Sloomoo Institute is slick and glossy, a contemporary curation of sinuous architecture and artful installations, created in partnership with world class architecture firm, Method Design, who evoked the enveloping folds of the #satisfying folds of slime. Every vibrant element is bespoke, intentional, and accessible, from exuberant colors (based on color therapy) to the fiberglass sculptural \u201cvats\u201d for slime play (more than beautiful, it was also built for 360-degree wheelchair access). The intention – to inspire awe in adults as much as the kids.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Sloomoo, our cute little mascot, is a representation of the Sloomoo world and mission to deliver joy. Sloomoo is a character and a species, all of whom are made of slime. Sloomoo has a host of friends and family too, each with their own unique charm, that special something that makes them \u201cthem.\u201d The Sloomoos aren\u2019t one color, size, shape, or form and have a slew of friends and family, each with a unique personality.
