Fifteen incredible years in NYC – what a ride! It all started in a Chelsea third-floor walkup, where just six months in, New York Magazine named me “Best Blonde in New York.” (Still humbling to this day.)
Since then, Craig and I have moved salons four times, each move masterminded by Craig, whose design genius has given every space its own unique charm. When our Fifth Avenue lease ended in 2019, we embraced a bold new vision: a smaller, more personal space that felt as warm and welcoming as home – because it is our home.
Enter our tiny West Side townhouse next to the Highline: three floors, with the salon on the first and our living quarters above. Downsizing let us maximize creativity, offering clients an intimate, one-on-one experience in a space filled with personality and heart.

Gregorio Ruggeri
Since opening his salon in 2005, Greg’s work has been showcased in the “who’s who” of beauty publications. Since then, he has won
“Best Blonde” in New York’s “Best Of New York” issue, and the salon has been named on “Best Of” lists in Allure and Time Out New York.
He has also been featured in countless print and digital publications, including Harper’s Bazaar, W, Vanity Fair, Beauty, Inc.
Ruggeri credits his enduring passion to a constant desire to learn, and so he has a Master’s in Hair Coloring and a Certified Trichologist (Trichologists study the human hair and scalp through the lens of both chemistry and biology, understanding how healthy hair growth operates on both a chemical and mechanical level).
With over 35 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, Gregorio Ruggeri brings unparalleled expertise and artistry to every service, transforming hair care into a deeply personal and transformative experience. His mastery extends far beyond the chair, as he is also a sought-after product consultant dedicated to shaping the future of hair care innovation.
In collaborative think tanks, Greg meticulously evaluates and helps refines product formulations, balancing creativity with critical analysis to determine what elevates a product and what holds it back.
